News for this Week Oct 13th

Of course - working for those illegally in the U.S. rather than the American and Legal Citizen - we knew this was coming! Someone should ask Obama with millions unemployed - many struggling financially now - how WE The Taxpayers are going to pay for 10-15 million illegal aliens and (something that is never mentioned) those that will also come thru THE FAMILY UNITY PLAN - which is in the bill - family members of the ILLEGAL aliens rewarded for illegal actions - Ruthie

Activists resort to chaining themselves to buses, buildings to protest all deportations
Frustrated by a lack of progress in Congress on immigration legislation, activists are demanding President Obama stop deporting all illegal immigrants — not just those who arrived here as children.
Only now, they’re using new tactics, chaining themselves to buses, jails and federal buildings to persuade lawmakers to let them stay.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 16, 2013) — For decades Congress has failed to unite behind an effective program of worker verification to limit illegal immigration beyond the border. The Center for Immigration Studies new report, A Tale of Two Senators, examines, through the contrasting work and style of Senators Portman and Schumer, this long-term struggle to control the job magnet attracting illegal immigrants.
The report raises questions about the risks of passing legislation that, like the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA)provides sweeping legalization to illegal immigrants, but fails to deliver the reform and control that its advocates promise. IRCA’s history of failure continues to influence the present debate and make the fortification of E-Verify pivotal to the passage of meaningful immigration reform.View the complete report at: http://www.cis.org/tale-of-two-senators.

Texas Jails Spend Millions on
October 15, 2013
Texas county jails spent more than $156.6 million housing more than 131,000 undocumented immigrants with federal detainers between October 2011 and September 2013, according to state jail commission data.
“Those are staggering numbers,” said state Sen. Tommy Williams, R-The Woodlands, who authored the 2011 bill that required jails to begin tracking data about the cost of jailing undocumented immigrants.

USCIS Union Chief Warns Against Passing Amnesty Before Fixing Agency Corruption
By Van Esser
Kenneth Palinkas , the president of the USCIS union, warned Congress not to pursue amnesty or legal immigration increases before correcting widespread problems at the agency. He said that tasking USCIS to review tens of millions of immigration-benefit applications before correcting political corruption within the agency invites disaster.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 14, 2013) An estimated $4.2 billion dollars has been sent to families of illegal aliens in a single tax period through the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), which offers up to $1,000 per child to all resident families, including illegal aliens. A new Center for Immigration Studies’ report faults congressional inaction, inappropriately casual policy decisions by low-level IRS staff allowing payments to illegal aliens, and IRS process policies often allowing the submission of phony support documents. Much of this “paying-the-illegal-to-stay” pattern continues as a result of needlessly narrow IRS efforts to discourage and to detect fraud.
Congress has never specifically written that ACTC benefits could only be provided to those with Social Security numbers. And, although Congress did write into legislation in 1996 that no federal “grant or benefit” could be given to illegal aliens, it did not define the terms. So the IRS took on the policy role and, without even a notice in the Federal Register, determined that illegal aliens with Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) could receive tax credits.View the complete report at: http://www.cis.org/paying-illeglas-to-stay

Conrado Juarez, 52, is arraigned at Manhattan Criminal Court for the alleged murder of 4-year-old Anjelica Castillo, nicknamed “Baby Hope.”
It was a murder that wrenched the hearts of New Yorkers and baffled the city’s best detectives and prosecutors for two decades.
On a summer day in 1991, the body of an emaciated 4-year-old girl was found naked and bundled with twine inside a filthy cooler near the Henry Hudson Parkway.
Investigators called the girl “Baby Hope” — and on Saturday their own never-flagging hopes were fulfilled when they finally cracked the case.
The turning point came this summer, in a laundromat, when one woman overheard another woman say that years ago her little sister had disappeared.

The first woman had also seen one of the “Baby Hope” fliers police continued to post, and called the cops.
The tip led to the arrest of Conrado Juarez, 52, who sources said was a http://nypost.com/2013/10/12/suspect-charged-in-two-decade-old-baby-hope-death/

San Francisco Releases Naked Transit Attacker, a Deportable Illegal Alien
By Brenda Walker on October 10, 2013 at 7:01pm
For the “How Quickly They Forget” file. Just a few years ago, San Franciscans were outraged that a violent illegal alien MS-13 member with prior arrests, but not deported, went on to murder Tony Bologna and his two sons in a mistaken-identity gang hit.
Now the city has loosed a violent crazy illegal alien on the public, a man who should have been repatriated to Colombia immediately following his criminal behavior last May. The case got a lot of twisted media coverage because Yeiner Alberto Perez Garizabalo performed naked acrobatic tricks in a San Francisco BART station, in between assaulting innocent commuters.
The attitude seems to be that California should provide this character with mental health treatment, even though Colombia is a civilized country where modern psychiatry is available. It’s arrogant and racist to think that Perez couldn’t get the care he needs at home.

If we enforced our immigration laws - these underage illegal aliens would not have been here in the first place to be used and abused by one of their own….and then enforcement could concentrate on stopping human trafficking at the borders and ports. Ruthie

Murder Solved After Cops Find Crime Scene Tattooed on Gang Member’s Chest
Apr. 22, 2011 2:45pm Jonathon M. Seidl
The Blaze
When 23-year old John Juarez was shot dead in front of the Los-Angeles-area Ed’s Liquor in 2004, cops couldn’t figure out who did it. The case sat unsvolved and cold for four years. That is until a vigilant cop happened upon a curious mug shot:
That’s 22-year old Anthony Garcia, a member of the notorious LA gang Rivera-13, who was arrested in 2008 for driving without a license. As part of procedure, cops took a picture of his tattoos and entered it into a database. Later that year, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Sergeant Kevin Lloyd was looking through the photos. That’s when he noticed something odd: the scene tattooed on the front of Garcia’s chest looked a lot like the the crime scene from Juarez’s murder.
