Outrageous. But not at all surprising. Illegal aliens, who broke our nation’s laws to come here and stay here, yet receive benefits that millions of American citizens don’t get — in-state tuition — are now complaining that they don’t get it for FREE.

Several years ago the town of Fremont was inundated with many illegal alien workers. They worked at the nearby meat packing plants located near, but outside the City limits of Fremont. The schools and jobs of the Freemont citizens were being severely impacted.
The people of Fremont went to their City Council for help. They requested local legislation mandating E-Verify compliance for local businesses in Freemont, as well as requiring rental property owners to rent only to people legally present in the United States. The Fremont City Council turned down their request cold. No!
The people of Fremont then launched a campaign, and gathered signatures to petition the City Council to place on the ballot at the next election local legislation on E-Verify and rental property against illegal immigration. They collected hundreds of signatures, but once again, the City Council of Fremont said NO!
The citizens of Fremont believing in self-governance hit the streets and pounded the pavement to gather signatures to force the issue onto the ballot at the next election. The people prevailed and they gathered the required signatures to place the issue on the ballot. At the election the measure requiring E-Verify and Legal Presence for rental property occupation was passed by the citizens overwhelmingly.
The ACLU immediately filed a law suit and challenged the measure. Implementation of the law was postponed. After several years, two appeals, and thousands of tax payer dollars spent, 60 days ago the appellate court decided that the Fremont ordinance is legal and constitutional. The ACLU has just a few more days to petition the U.S. Supreme Court for a hearing, which is their final legal option in this process. So you are thinking, halleluiah…right? Finally the people prevail!
But the first week after the final court decision, the Fremont City Council announced they were going to change the ordinance and remove the portion regarding rental property. WHY YOU ASK? Because the landlords, many of whom are members and associates of the City Council and their big business associates and meat packing plants are impacted by the law, and they want to continue to break the law Now remember, implementation of the ordinance was suspended throughout the entire process. But now that the ordinance has been upheld in court, they know their chances of being granted a Supreme Court hearing are slim and none, so ……they want to dismantled what the people have passed as law, what the courts have upheld as legal, and now the people’s right to self-government is being taken away by special interest and influence of the local city council!
The citizens of Fremont stormed the City Council to oppose dismantling the ordinance. So the Fremont City Council, in their infinite wisdom, voted to convene a special election on February 11, 2014 to put this matter to a vote again! Yes you read that correctly, they want a do-over. (Think the American people could get a do-over of the 2012 election?)
The opposition and supporters of illegal immigration and businesses who hire illegal aliens are funneling thousands of dollars to try and get the vote to go their way. American citizens and legal immigrants in Fremont who believe that law and order should be upheld, and in a government of the people, for the people, by the people find themselves once again in battle against corruption and special interest politics! Needless to say, they intend to recall the City Council once this matter is decided again, but until then, they need our help. They need financial assistance for direct mail pieces, door hangers, flyers, phone bank and a rally. Please help in any way you are able.
Make the Fremont Battle, your battle. We need to take back our country, one town at a time, help us save Fremont and the American process of self-governance!

Union City, New Jersey (CNN) - Flanked by Hispanic leaders, students, and immigration reform advocates, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie celebrated the signing of his state’s so-called DREAM Act on Tuesday, hailing the new law a sound economic choice and an object lesson in bipartisan cooperation.
“We know that when we bring people together, when we work together despite some of our differences, that we also set an example of optimism for every one of the 8.9 million people who live here,” Christie said at a signing event in Union City, a Hispanic stronghold just across the Hudson River from Manhattan.
“Unlike what happens in Washington, that government can actually work for you,” he added. “That things can actually get done, that agreements can be reached, and that commitments can be kept.”

This is a prefect example of the lawless asinine liberal left/moderate right thinking….. Giving ILLEGAL aliens (with a 75 percent failure rate) licenses… No doubt we will see Juan Williams (or the like) on FOX News saying something like “We MUST lower the standards (for illegals only of course) so they can obtain a license.”
Where is anyone in Washington on this - the ruse that they will be safe drivers with insurance IS UNBELIEVABLE - why would they pay for insurance with our tax dollars/their welfare payments when being here illegally, driving illegally no license or insurance has worked so well in the past? Why play this game with the safety of our roadways?

The law passed by the 2013 Legislature and signed by Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval allows immigrants in Nevada without citizenship status to obtain driver privilege cards. On Friday, the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles began issuing so-called ‘Drivers’ Authorization Cards’ to illegal aliens. One need only present a foreign birth certificate, along with a passport or a Matricula Consular card to apply for the permits, which are good for one year.
In May 2013, the measure known as SB303, easily passed the Democrat-led Nevada state legislature, and Republican Governor Brian Sandoval signed the bill into law, extending driving privileges to those here illegally.
Gov. Sandoval told reporters:
Allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver’s privilege card will increase the number of drivers on Nevada’s roads that are insured and aware of traffic rules and regulations.”
However, there is one problem…
Though thousands of illegal aliens have already applied for the ‘Drivers’ Authorization Cards,’ only about one-fourth of them have actually been able to obtain one.
DMV spokesman David Fierro told KOLO 8 News:
We’re seeing a pretty high failure rate state-wide. It’s about 75 percent”

Why can’t anyone wearing a suit understand the connection between permissive immigration (legal and illegal) and American unemployment? Do universities no longer teach supply and demand in Econ 101?
To liberals and their media poodles, there is no contradiction between a segment on a suffering long-unemployed American worker followed by an item about mass legalization with immediate work permits for millions of illegal aliens. (To elite Washington, the jobless American needs more unemployment benefits, and the illegal alien, who does just fine without “papers” as shown by length of residence, needs legalization for jobs.)

I have said this to a certain extent too… Rush is talking about what they are doing up to the point where I believe the blackmail - worst of two evils comes in.
Rush is proposing that the GOP is purposely waiting until after filings have closed as not to fire up (True American) candidates like Conservatives, Constitutionalists and the Tea Party - then when filing is closed - that where the blackmail enters - Vote for Us Or Else……..

On New Year’s Eve, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the apprehension of “11 illegal alien sex offenders,” who were caught trying to illegally re-enter the country from Mexico.
The CBP press release stated:
All apprehensions took place at, or close to the border near the cities of Calexico, El Centro and Indio, Calif. The illegal aliens are all men with a criminal history for felony convictions that range anywhere from sexual intercourse with a child, to rape and sodomy; many of the sex offenders were apprehended traveling in groups with women and children.

Van Buren man known as ‘Border Guy’ gets 10 years for running cocaine from Texas to Canada

BANGOR, Maine — A Van Buren man known as “The Border Guy” was sentencedFriday in U.S. District Court to 10 years in prison for his role in a drug-running scheme that brought cocaine from Texas to Canada through Maine.
Robert Rossignol, 61, pleaded guilty in March to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and failure to report the importation of $10,000 or more and aiding and abetting the same.
Five kilograms of cocaine is equal to about 11 pounds of the drug. Based on testimony, more than three times that amount was purchased in Houston and distributed in New Brunswick.http://
